- Harri is recovering from an ABI (acquired brain injury) he suffered in 2001. He was bitten by a mosquito and contracted a virus, Murray Valley Encephalitis, which caused his brain to swell, as a result he is now a quadriplegic. The result is similar to cerebral palsy. Harri suffers from epilepsy and is also unable to speak. We hope to find a treatment that will aid in his recovery. Our current primary program is call ABR (advanced bio-mechanical rehabilitation), aimed at stimulating his core muscles and making them stronger, improving his structural deficiencies. Harri currently is battling a complex set of breathing issues, Laryngospasm and Tracheomalacia, as well as Kyphoid scoliosis.
